April 14- Check out www.PublicServantPledge.com. It's a new website we launched today to highlight the candidates throughout Pennsylvania who have signed on to the Public Servant Pledge.
April 2- Yard signs are here! If you'd like one, be sure to fill out our form under "Get Involved". We'll be sure to get a sign to you. If you can help us put signs up in the district, let us know.
March. 12 - Today I signed the "Public Servant Pledge". It's an important reminder that everyone who is an elected official, or who desires to be one, does so for public service.
When I became Recorder of Deeds 10 years ago, I signed away my government pension. I didn't think that the taxpayers should pay their elected officials a salary long after they've left office...and that's exactly what a pension is.
As State Senator, I'll do the same thing...No Perks, No Pension, No Pay Raise. It's as simple as that. I've called on my opponents to join me, and sign the pledge as well. Let's hope they agree!
